Default Mini Rio channel? Change?

A friend just purchased a boat and the company only had a couple in stock, so we have 3, 2 on Ch4 and one on Ch2. In the rare case that we all want to boat together, is it possible to modify the channel somehow?

The crystal is built into the speed control.

So to run together you will need new speed controls/receivers.

not without desoldering the old and soldering in the new, and that's on the tx as well. If you post this on the main Mini Rio thread, somebody who's done a brushless conversion and changed out everything might be willing to sell you their Tx and the 2-in-1 Rx/esc if they have one on either channel 1 or channel 3. Good luck!

I have an RX/ESC on ch1. It doesn't matter to me which AM ch I use. I can trade you my (RX/ESC) & (TX XTAL) on ch 1 for the same in whatever.
My set has only one run on it before I pulled it out for Brushless.

If said friend decides to go for it, I'll ship mine out so he can be assured it operates properly before sending his to me.
