Default SV27 Watercooling System Help

The watercooling system on mine seems to be clogged. What is the best way to handle this i.e. what to check first and so on. I am into cars/trucks big time but this is my first boat. And im afraid im gonna burn up my baby! Please help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

pull the line off the rudder & try blowing down the rudder & the line, if the line is clear & the rudder isn't you've found your problem. if not, take each section of line off and blow through it until you find the blockage.

also check your water jacket by sliding it off teh motor & looking at the holes in there. some of the jackets had issues with the flashing not being removed and blocking holes & reducing water flow around the motor.

hope this helps.

Also check the brass fittings on the ESC cooling plates. One of mine was clogged.
I cleaned them all out with a round needle file. Works fine now.

You can plug the hose to a small water pump and check it that way. Tower sells a small sig pump for fuel that will be on my next boat. wo
