That cooling jacking rocks. Did you build it yourself or buy it somewhere?

We do need a cooling jacking up the motor because the apex is the only motor that can change the KV and are very popular in our country.

Good morning all ,

I am new to this , I already have quite a few prop driven boats and these intriuge me . Where can they be purchased ? and do you guys use the Graupner jet drives or are the ones that come with the models OK ? It seems a lot of mods are done to keep the drives from self destruction . I look forward to hearing from at least one of you to point me in the right direction .

Cheers

lapistola,
The graupner will be a good replacement if the original wears out. I doubt you will be able to get stock parts for this little cheap boat. As a matter of fact, it is cheap enough to buy an extra for parts.

aumsdh, I guarantee you, if you would sell these on the market, everyone here would buy one of your cooling plates. Including myself, well when I finally get the boat next spring that is. Of course that is if the price is fair.

Well, guess that answers that. I won't get a cooling plate, so I guess I will buy an in runner motor and install a cooling jacket. Much easier since I don't have the time to build anything. If I get one of these boats, it will probably get ran maybe 10 times out of the whole summer if I'm lucky. I mostly like to fly my RC Planes and run on road and off road cars and trucks with my son.
