I have a Mobil1 oil sponsorship decal set from an old RC car too which will set off the silver very nicely. Will post up pics when its sorted. Silver looks awesome, just waiting fro full cure before masking out the hi vis areas Then its a waiting game for the Lipos that are on order, my 4300Mah Nimh just wasn't cutting it. It would get up on the plan after a while of pushing its bow wave, kinda realistic but not really why I modified the boat and 50% less revs than my cousins setup doesn't make for a great comparison.

That is an excellent choice esc for a 2040 size motor. Be sure to run the water cooling to the esc first, then to the motor, then out. No worries there.

If you are looking for something to take signs and glueoff the boat.I used moo-ter cleaner & degreaser from( cowrc.com). Ittook a little elbow grease, not a lot,but worked excellently anddid not hurt the plasticor finish at all.Cow products are outstanding. I highly recommend all their goods.

I figure that the paint would help seal up any little gaps that the sealant might have missed anyway. There is more hi vis orange surrounding the jet intake too. There's really only one way for the water to get in now and thats through the hatch which is getting some serious attention to prevent this.

If anyone else is masking their boat up then make sure you use low tack vinyl tape. Having the metallic silver peel off with the masking tape was not a great look.

No problem. Wish the Losi headers were just a little bit longer, I was going to hook the water from the cooling up to them for the water cooled header look. LOL!

Thanks! I've got a Hobbywing 4800kv in it on 7.2v, Seaking 25a speedo, Hobbico standard size servo, and 2 Gens ace 1300 mah 25c lipos, Spektrum reciever and DX3R.
The trailer is just something I threw together, got about $7 in it. The fenders are the capoff a can of spray paint!
The Camaro is my USGT car that I race at Thunder R/C Raceway in Nashville,TN, Thought it would look cool pulling a boat!
Don't have any videos yet, been having too much fun to even think about it.

That's the good thing about here in Tennessee, water everywhere!4 big ponds in sight of the house, creeks everywhere. The Buffalo, Duck, and Tennesse Rivers are all just a few minutes away.
