You can get a similar cooling mount that should work for an outrunner here: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=ose-509b14

hey aumsdh, I think your cooling plate is great. Your boat runs very good too. What is the thickness of aluminum you use for cooling plate?

RE: Unofficial
does anyone have a good way to get really sticky servo tape out of a boat? my battery holder is servo-taped to the hull and its really sticky on the last 1"x2" portion and i'm afraid to pull much harder for fear of cracking the hull or damaging it in any way. its been sitting in water for 2-3 days and hasnt become any less-sticky, dunno if theres a better solution i can put in there to get it unstuck or at least get the battery holder out. i can clean up servo tape residue after i get it out

I tried actually separating the top and bottom. No workie, tried with acetone etc, cracked bottom hull a bit. Cutting hatch is so far the only way that keeps the strength of the boat together and can be covered up by the lid. Be sure to pull motor tubes out and goop those, plus take heads off and glue those back in properly with goop or some other sort of silicon, the only other two sources of leaks will be the lid itself and the shaft.

My HC order is in Utah. Creek is frozen. In fact the ice is rising. Here I go again. Last yr I spent Xmas fighting flood water. All the water in the pic is supposed to be on the other side of the trees .. lol
