Hi guys i was looking at one of these and i see some have bought the 25inch version micro dart and say its good.
I'm not used to fast electric so i wanted to know about the kv engines what it means etc more the number or less is better faster?
i've read about in runners and out runner motors so i know inrunners is what i should be looking for.
Also what type of battery should go with that motor (if its any good) for speed, run time etc
thanks

RE: 32
Kv is the term for rpm per volt; for instance the motor is 2750kv so for that motor running a 4s (14.8v) LiPo 2750 x 14.8= 40700rpm if you increase to 6s (22.2v) 2750 x 22.2v=61050rpmat that high rpm the possibility of mechanical failure is high. Look at the motor, ESC, batt thread for FE's toward the top of this forum there is a lot of usuful info there.

RE: 32
Hii,
I own one of these 32" boats. What convinced me about it was excellent hardware - I use it in salt water with no problems. The only problem is its ESC - i fried mine after only about 10min using 4s 5000mah 20c lipo. If you use less power, and are ready to wait for ESC to cool between runs, you should be OK.
