Thanks for the help!
Horizon sent me a new stock prop when I told them what happened and it arrived today so I ran my y535 prop first, then the stock prop. The y535 is SOOO much better..speeds were about 2 mph faster at least from what I could tell and while the stock prop got the RPM's higher, it just seemed like they were wasted RPM's as it didn't push it any faster.
To top it all off, before the battery began to run out the stock prop lost a blade... that's 3 stock props broken in 3 runs now...never again will I run one.
I think I will stick to the y535, even with my Nimh batteries...and once I run lipo's we shall see what she can do! (on that note, how much speed and run time do you think I will pick up with Lipo's)
Thanks for the help!

its all in the size and pitch
I would like to see what this little boat would do with a 38mm prop

RE: new proboat shockwave brushless
Wanted to update this thread so others can see how this boat runs..So here she is as of right now.
Also wanted to add how great customer service is from Horizon...Any little issues I have had they have resolved right away and sent me any parts I needed (replacement props...new motor coupler and driveshaft due to the set screw being stuck and unable to remove it) just little things nothing bad but never a problem getting it resolved right away...which makes me that much happier about my purchase from this company.
Anyways the boat is All stock except for upgraded x435 S & B prop
Running on a single 7.2v 4200 NiMh battery pack

Current set up hits just shy of 25mph and cool battery, motor and esc
With my previous Y535 prop I was getting 26-27mph but the batteries were getting very hot and the motor wasn't getting as high of RPM's as it was stock or now...so the 435 is better for it now and I have read the y535 is a bit too much when running Lipo's where-as the 435 has had good results.
Not too horrible of a speed for a single 6 cell NiMH
Have Lipos on the way.. should be at 30mph or a bit more with this set up I am thinking.

New Video to give you an idea of this boat on a Lipo..think it might be the first video of someone who owns this boat running Lipo.

And Killerk..that is odd...maybe the motor is pulling a hair more power now being the ESC allows it and that causes the new prop to not be sufficient enough?
Someone with more knowledge might be able to chime in.
