RE: Thunder Tiger Outlaw OBL
Here it is ready to go next to my Aeromarine Conquest 43.
The Thunder Tiger Outlaw OBL I repaired the radio box and had to rebuild the steering servo which got damaged during shipping.
The turn fins are sharp as a knife.

Nicely done boat, it looks like Thunder Tiger has been doing their homework. The motor cover is kind of lame though so you might want to leave the cover off so that it can get some air.
Let me know how you like the transmitter as I've been looking at them.
We're supposed to have a good weekend coming up so it looks like I know what you're going to be doing! Now go out there and have some fun!

Nice ride thanks for posting Darla.
I like the green.
I do like that motor and its cooling. If its cooled properly it would not need an Aluminum mount or is it?
Anyway, its a nice machine. It looks nicer than the Traxxas.
Any idea of KV on the motor and its physical dimensions?
Enjoy!

So how fast is it Darla? I know you must still have a GPS. How does it handle? Maybe you want to sell it to me when I get back from the desert in November

Hey Chris! Long time no see bud! Stop on by when they set you free.
I called Darla last night and she may be out at the lake now as we're getting a small break in the weather until later in the day. We might have one weekend here where it isn't raining.

The Cougar 2.4 radio works very well.
Radio box took in a few drops of water through the steering rod boot.
The motor is neat,The end of the motor behind the water cooled area spins which also gets air from the endbell vents.

ORIGINAL: MsDarla
Very impressive 1st run,Stable, smooth few inches of the back end rides the water.
With one 11.1v lipo it ran about 25 mph for about 5 minutes.
The ESC can handle up to 6S which I might try later.

25MPH? Blahhhhhh...Sloooooooooooooow ;-) But, I suppose with a 3s lipo thats not TOO bad.
Toss a 5s pack in their and tell us how it runs. The motor looks sweet. The whole boat looks sweet. I'll have to keep up on this one. I love the size. If the boat could run reliably with a 5s pack around 40MPH I think we could have ourselves a winner!
BTW - Not complaining, but after having 30+ MPH boats for years, anything below 30MPH just seems slow. 50MPH is where the fun REALLY beings IMO ....I.E. My old Blast Cat with a modded Zen that I am still kicking myself for selling......

Hey Darla, I have 2 NEW, a month old pair of 5S Turnigy 20-30C 5000's I would sell very inexpensively.
They were a great deal from HC but, I really don;t need them, I need 6S.
Using 6S on this boat with this esc could be pushing it too hard, esc may give out.
