Default My take on Brushless Mini C Cat Racing

Took my stock Mini-C (mostly) and stripped all running gear and inards on Sunday. Then started back in with a 3800kv hybrid Emp motor, Quark 33 esc, (water cooling on both) Corona servo, Mini Cat Racing running gear & rudder, Tactic receiver, 2s 20c Eflite battery, 27mm prop. Need to add flotation yet so took it easy. Here's a vid of it's first run

all I can see is a roster tail, and hear a whooosh as the boat whips past.  Very cool.

Just added some 2 part foam to the bow and starboard side of the hull. Rerouted the cooling tubing between the inner and outer hull. Added about .9 ounces weight to port sponson to help with torque roll. Will stick on a 30mm prop and see what happens. Will try & get a vid too.

Finally got another vid of this boat albeit a short one. Fried my quark 33 esc so now have a Scorpion 35a water cooled one running. Also an X430 octura prop. Here's the Vid [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK65KRXrNlI[/link]
