Yeah 99% of the people buying this thing won't be racing, and if they want to, for this price I think it is going to create a class if it's own. It sounds like a fun and fast boat for a great price. I used to hate traxxas, but as they come out with more cool stuff at decent prices I cannot help but be a fan of their products and technology.

The plan is to get the NTB (New Traxxas Boat) out by the end of June. But, like the price, that's not set in stone. The goal is always, "as soon as possible, as affordably as posible," but since this is an all-new boat for us, we can't totally pin those things down to the day and the dollar at the moment, but price and release date will firm up soon. Stay tuned.

Like me and other have posted on OSE, this new boat from Traxxas could start a new class running stock on 4s and 6s...
Traxxas has started new racing classes, and I cannot wait to get my hands on one!
I have a build that I will put off now and use the money on this bad boy

I don't have the specs, but the boat's stock prop will be the same pitch and diameter as what we ran in the video. As we get closer to the official release, we'll have those details and more for you.

Ron has posted on my forum Thunder Tiger Outlaw OBL and Venom KOS C1 that is a nightmare of all RC Boats.

allthough there are no details it is listed on the great planes dealer website as "on order" no pricing or availability yet. but that does mean that tower will have them. remains to be scene whos first to get them though.

Since you've been off in the Air Force we got ourselves a club here now and a lake to ourselves up in the Grand Rapids suburb of Grandville west of US-131 right off 28th Street. I still get bugged every year about having another Fun Run here in the `Zoo. Get out and we'll see about throwing a party for you!
I came over here as I was at one of the LHS's yesterday and saw the new 2.4 Gig radios in the showcase. Not bad money for a 2.4 system but was wondering how they're doing on the water as we've seen other ones who don't do too well in the past from other companies. I was disappointed to see no RX switch in the package and some come with the AA 4-cell battery holders which I toss anyway. The lack of an RX switch is still no biggy to me but others might like to have one included. Everything that I've seen about this boat so far doesn't mention what radio comes with it but I'm guessing it is the 2.4 Gig system.

even when Traxxas came out with the Mini Slash, I was the first to tell them whats up, and I was the first to get one.. they didn't get theirs for another month after I had mine

not sayin anything bad about traxxas but after gettin hosed on my ekos i will be sittin this one out!! yes i know venom makes the ekos but it's just the whole new product thing. more times than not it takes a while to work out the bugs and i think i'll let others be the "ginny pigs" on this one. it does look like a good boat for the $ and hopefully those who buy it have good luck. it's just a risk i don't want to take. i'm sure MSDARLA can relate? besides that i have more fun with my nitro cat and my next will be a fast gas!

Traxxas builds bullit proof stuff, and this boat should be awesome!
they have been on the waters for a while now, trying different things and pushing this boat before it comes to us
