Default HOR 28" Shovel nose hydro?

Hello!

I didin't find much conserning this 28" shovel nose hydro hull from Head of the River.
Any experience from it?

I have one 28x68mm sized 1539kV inrunner and Seaking 60AESC from my experiments with Jollymotor and I'd like to find some interesting hull to place them in to.
Would these be enaugh for nice speeds (6s setup)?

And what hardware kit would you recommend from HOR? 3/8" or 4mm strut and off-set rudder?

Hi I have one of these hulls, running with a Fieago 540 6Xl inrunner, turnigy 180amp speedy, 3s 40c 5000Ma Turnigy packs , Grim 38-52 ? Prop. I have run it a few times now and the last run was the best, averaging at about the 50mph mark, problem is though you can not keep it on the water at these speeds, i flipped it 7 times in the last session alone! Barrel rolled it 2 times and kept on going..... i think we have hit the limit of this hull but one hell of alot of fun.
COG is 1/2" from the rear of the sponsons, any further forward and it will not loose it's grip on the water and any further back it is too loose, I would suggest you make a deacent turn fin too as the ones on ebay will not provide enough grip in the corners.
Hope this helps.

I have a red one I can sell fairly cheap.... Had it for a while, we run in very rough water and it won't do for me.

$65 shipped

New empty hull no holes.

This is a typical hardware setup taken from A-Z racing.

This is the same round nose as mine. Picture courtesy of AZ racing.

So what do you think, is 28x68mm 1539kV inrunner on 6s suitable for that hull?

BACKEMF, I will consider your offer... You are sure you will post it to Europe?

I didn't see you were in Europe, Shipping would be expensive...

I think that motor is too small.

You can try to push it with a 400watt motor but, it might not last long

Better to use a nicer motor like turnigy helicopter outrunner http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...trunner_1300KV

On 6S.

Use as much of the 1500watts you like depending on prop size...
