Sounds pretty nice and the 50+mph option on 6S lipo is sick
Has anyone got one of these yet? Id like to hear what other users think and what more you could get out of it if you play around with diffrent props.

same here I have subscribed to several places online to notify me when available. I might just preorder it. But I am wanting to know what are the best recommended 3S lipo packs for the boat. Because I dont want to over do it on the packs mAh and make it too heavy. And I'd like to know the propshaft size to see what props could be used on this boat.

their release date has been moved to late august/early september.apparently traxxas found a glitch in the boat and they are correcting it.dont know what the glitch is however...

its abs if im correct, its what they made the villain and the blast out of but beefed up for the bigger size, i havent had any problems with my abs hull

I emailed traxxas support this.
I will be getting one of these. I want to use the 2 3S lipo packs. What 3S lipo packs are recommended for this boat? I know larger mAh packs weigh more and I don't want the boat to be too heavy. Also what is the run time on the boat with the stock packs?

I was just pointing you to the info posted. I don't care if you want to start a new thread. I agree the boat name should be in it. As far as the packs and the info on the best batteries and weight: I'd go with the biggest packs you can get for it 5000-5500 mah. The weight diff is not that significant and the higher capacity will make them more durable long term. I don't think you'll see runtimes estimated. It varries so much by battery quality, prop choise, pilot habits etc. This boat will be run thorugh the ringer in the first two weeks after release) I don't know if they recomend a minimum C rating but I would not go less than 25-30 C. (I'm running 40C packs and love the security it brings). Hobby king had Zippy and turnigy for good prices and both have good reputations around here.

yeah definitely buy from hobbyking, best prices around, and id get 25c atleast, but go higher if you can afford it

but 20c 3s packs will push the hull to 50mph
