Rc boat hull

I am looking for an rc boat hull to run with the proboat steerable outdrive. I found the traxxas villain hull on eBay and also found the joys way x blaze hull as well. I want it to look semi scale but am having a hard time finding a distributor of hulls or name brand replacement hulls under 80 bucks. This boat is going to be a retrieval boat as well as something slower for friends that want to run with me. I am going to run the outdrive low in the water like a sub surface drive so that when pulling the boat in it has more of a bite on the water. I have a brushed graupner 600 motor with a proboat brushed esc OR I have the power plant from my old supervee 27. I think that will be too much motor so would it hurt anything to run it off a single 7.2v battery? Or will undervolting hurt the esc? Thanks in advance, it's starting to get cold so when the fast boat flips I don't want to go swimming!

Also, my plan is going to be to run the tip of the top of the prop about even with the bottom of the hull to keep it submerged, any recommendations if this sounds good? And I was thinking I'm going to have to run a smaller prop? Maybe a 35mm? Thinking on 3 blade. Any input would be greatly appreciated
