Default G230 G260

Do the 230 and 260 have the same bottom end just different top ends. And can you put a 260 top end on the 230.

No. 230's are a 2 port engine. Have to do quite a bit of grinding to make the transfer ramps in case match up to a 4 port cylinder.

Edit,
Realized that they might be aircooled RC engines. ???? G230 G260 ????
A g260rc topend will bolt right on a g230rc engine same just bigger piston and cylinder. 230 two ports and 260 four ports don't interchange.

23cc G231PUM and 26cc G260 PUM 4 bolt cylinders also interchange.

That's a 2 bolt head, not a 4 bolt PUM style

Yes it is a 2 bolt air cooled engine. If you want more from the 23 air cooled you can add the bore up kit.

He did say a g230 and g260 and aircooled. Those engines are G230RC and G260rc engines and are identical except the piston and cylinder. They are both two port and share the same crankcases.

LOL. Seen plenty a RC engine in boats, you never know. They were aircooled first before Zenoah figured for $.50 we could make this thing marine and not waste time designing a marine engine. PUM's 230 and 260's are gonna be different. Crank, coils, flywheel, intake and a few other pieces are the same on those 230's and will transfer to a 260 so you would only need as $35 set of cases with the new cylinder and make the 260 or whatever you want. 36mm big bores run nicely.
