RE: New toy in the shop
We're not saying that it's a bad thing but if you bought this used under the assumption that it was a F-41 then it was misrepresented by the seller.
Have you had this boat in the water yet? Just wondering as the engine looks like it's set back too far with "looks" being the keyword here as it may be OK.

RE: New toy in the shop
I had no idea or intension of getting it.. but it came out of the shop with me.
We put it in the water that day and it ran fine, im sure with the mentions adjustments it should be a fun boat.
Im not a boat guy.. just a car guy with some boats.
Im open for advise so keep it comming!

Updated..
100Deg header and turned the flange over..
also finished and ran the Mean Machine brushless convert. 49mph so far.
The Geico is a stock motor with a Turnigy 180 ESC that keeps up with the Mean Machine.

This is an F-41. I built it while being on medical leave (again) and needed something for mental therapy (boredom) while the rest of the old bod was healing. I dropped in a Rev-Unlimited modded by Mike (Suicidal Engines) Ross to see how it'd do. Zippkits pipe, Hi-tec servo's, Futaba 3PL 2.4 Gig and Speedmaster hardware. They made at least 3 cowls for the hull, this is the Drag version.
I finally ran it Saturday, it ran OK but still needs some tweaking done.
