prop placement/stinger

Default prop placement/stinger

is it better for the prop to be closer or fauther from the back of the boat? my stinger allows me to move the stinger=prop like question askes. thanks for the help

Common drive length is 10% hull-length.

Prop trailing edge should be at rudder leading edge.

the props edge closest to transom is even with back edge of rudder. that is the farthest it can be adjusted in.

Generally closer in has less handling problems, further out is faster.
You might want to try extending your rudder.
