Gizmo 28.5cc Up Grade
Hi, Any body try the Gizmomotors 28.5cc full race up grade. I have a modded 260 that is about ready for some work and wonder is any one has tried this up grade and your opinion .
Boat is a Speed Freek Gen I Hydro, runs about 58 mph right now.
Thanks
Ralph

I purchased a second one of these kits because I liked the first one so much! I hope to try it tomorrow in my 46" mono. I will post the results here.

Last weekend didn't go to well. I had carburetor problems that prevented me from being able to shut the engine down. I'll try again next weekend.

Just got my kit in the mail today, looks good. Should have it ready to run by 6/28. When we do our Tuesday boating. Hope you get your "bugs" worked out.

RE: Gizmo 28.5cc Up Grade
Ran my Hydro today for the first time with the upgrade kit, can't give it a good review yet as I only ran two tanks of fuel both on the rich side and the first one real easy as a break-in. Water was dead flat which my hydro is not crazy about. Will see as I sort things out. Will have to lean it out some and i have a feeling I will have to make my pipe a little longer, will see, didn't seem to have the torque I expected, but could be the ring/cly still little tight and not broken in yet or the pipe too short for this raised roof exhaust cyl. head.
