Boat should run mid 60's pretty easy. Get a 2716/2, set strut 1/2" up from ride pads to stuffing tube, set trim at neutral and it will haul azz.

Wow, that's slow for a Toxic Al motor! My boating bud is getting faster speeds with a stock RCMK turning a 6717/3 but ran even better the last time out with my H-31 getting around 57 MPH GPS'ed speed. Wally (Tahoe1970) Duarte ran a H-50 on his Suicidal modded SAW Sprint Cat.

The boat started having issues about the time that my daughter-in-law shot this as it developed a bearing seal leak.
Yeah, I know he's going the wrong way also but it does steer really well to the left.

actually, not very slow considering the prop he has on it. The GrimRacer props have no push to them. They are like prather props.. sport prop, not speed prop.

i have a buddy that might have that prop. i just got back from the lake and ran a grimracer 65x100 2 blade and got 53.8. i know its not the 2716/2 but its waht i have at this point. i did do the set up that was given in top of thread and picked up 13.8 mph from my previous run with the 65x100(got 40 with the 2 blade grim the other day)

Not sure what rake you need I had a 15? Get a hold of "Fuel Crazy" he makes really good props.

I think that I've got a 2716 in my box of props, I'll have to look. I know that I tried one on my boats and it took a lot of oomph to spin that thing.

I know you run SS's, just trying to find a good prop for him. I finally got an SS modded RCMK recently.

Have a couple of them there SS Enterprise RCMK's myself and they just absolutely fly.

No surprise as it has ports that would make a Quickdraw jealous, Lol. And the thing has got enough torque to almost twist the propshaft off. Who ever said that big ports and transfers kills the velocity and therby the torque better think again. On second thought they are better of believing off believing that myth and following my roostertail. Lol.
