220 pounds is not little money considering the cost of the boat.

Well even with shipping plus cost of boat total price of a bare hull delivered to you would be £405 thats for a carbon rienforced hull, so to me its very reasonable. You wont find a better built Apache anywhere you can quote me on that .I think also if you check arround my carbon version is actually cheaper than a standard built one from elsewhere.Im not trying to sell it to you by any means in fact its just sold haha.

Hi Leo,thanks for the update,i wont say i told you so ooops i just did lol.
I know what you mean about the pics it took me a cpl of days to get mine up its so frustrating [:@].
Look forward to seeing your pics and hopefully some more videos soon .
Good to hear shes getting lots of use and holding up well, keep enjoying her mate and watch out for them cats lol.
Mart
ps i have a secret i use in my gelcoat now that helps it not chip or crack easy i might tell you in private if you ask nice shhh
Yes you did tell me and I never doubted you. As you are well aware I own several Apaches and I am not going to mention the mfg but I have seen more than oneof their boats including one that I own split at the seams after a 40mph dunk,I can just imagine what it would havve looked like if it had been the one that hit the R42. I have already experinced a half dozenhigh speed flips anddunks with my Waverider Apache without any damage what so ever.

I will be helping the CD at our big District race this weekend so I will not be able to do any boating this week. But I hope to have some video very soon. We already have over 120 boats registered.

Leo

Mart the cost of your boat is very reasonable, it is the courier companies ripping us off that gets me down. But I have been doing my sums and very very soon a Waverider Apachy will be running in Cape Town.

Props ?

One engine > gearbox > dual-drive's ?

I fear your drive's are for 1/4" prop-hub's ?

Calculating a 'normal' 7016 prop : 2 = 35mm props :-(

Even if you could go bigger 45 > 55mm props ...

they are not there in 1/4" ... only 3/16".

Ask Dave Marles , maybe he has an answer.

I've 're-worked' 3/16" props to 1/4" before ... (for a MHZ-Zdrive) [link=http://www.powerboat-friends-freising.de/usergallery/albums/userpics/PropWorX-II.pdf]L I N K[/link] (download.pdf file)

He could use a stepped down 1/4 to 3/16 " prop shaft thats what im using on my fast electric build using 1/4" struts should be able to find the props he needs then .

@ Mart :

Bob is using WD-200 steerable drives .. only Werners propshafts will fit.

But you're also right ... He can ask Werner to supply stepped down propshafts on them.

In case 1/4"props are possible .. Dave M and others are selling 1/4>3/16 inserts.
