Matho - Thank you for so much detail and insight on the event and situation of the hobby. Think it certainly helps put things in perspective.
Indeed it seems that RC boating has always been a more expensive pursuit in Germany. It seems most will only have one or two boats (though the quality is always extremely high). I was thinking that with the internet and option to source parts abroad that the hobby would grow further but indeed there are certainly other factors at work.
Heilbronn remains one event I aim to attend (maybe next year!!)

WOW, most of those boats are truly a work of art.
We (wife, son and I) are hopefully going to europe next year and this will be one event that I plan on seeing. Thanks for sharing.

If I'm still in the area, please look us up. Currently were only an hour away and could make for a good bbq with the families and even transportation for a day
