Paint done by Doug at oversprayer.com. I am getting all the parts together to start the build soon and will post pics of my progress. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Looks great - though I would be afraid to work on her. Easier to fix an error before paint than after.

What do you have in mind for power?

You aint kidding! I am already having anxiety attacks just thinking about drilling holes but it will have to be done. I have a Bonzi BZx2 motor that I will be installing which should put me in the 50mph range. I am going to do a trick dual exhaust setup too :-)

Would not worry so much about HP ratings and claims. Setup right you may well be in the 50's

Hi Gaz that zen 7 is rated at 7.2 hp the clues in the name lol.Dont worry boat nut you should see 50 with your chosen motor or dam close.Gaz also hit 52 in one of my 58 Apaches with a zen 7 so with your 5+ hp you should easy get close to if not over 50 mph in a 50 " boat. .As Matt says its all in the setup.

Ok cool. I am going with a stinger 5" out and a 6" extended rudder. Does that sound good?

Yep, get it set up right, take yoor time. Small drill bits first is good advice . Whats been done to this "Zen 7" to make it all that ? stroked , Timed ?
