Air scoops (where to get?)
Hi All,
Just wondering if any body knows where to source these air scoops from.
I found them on rc-powerboat.de forum and my german language skills are non existent sorry.

you can get them from MHZ Germany. There not advertised on there site so you will have to email Sandra and ask for them.

i have a mold for ones that look similar but not a squared off trailing edge, happy to do a few if you need, also have Naca duct mold too. PM me if your interested

If you wanted you could build yourself a small vacuum box and make a wooden ,foam plug cut in two and vacuum form the two halves from plastic sheet and glue together plus its fun to do .

Wow, I appreciate you posting this!!! I worked at a boat factory for a few years and made wind-shields / wind-screens like this but we had an ovens big enough to walk in and industral vacuum pumps but the same concept.. I took home a bunch of scrap of thinner polyethylene sheeting; so now I can visualize making a hatch for my 50 v-hull. I guess make a plug and make this table and wham-O, make a hatch. I guess I sholud foam line the hatch so it doesn't re-melt from the engine heat and float if it ever blows off.

No problem if it helps just one person its worth it.I dont think heat from the motor will hurt your cowl unless your cooling systems not working .
