Default 1980's 42" Aeromarine jesse james cat Build

Well I finally started my build. I found a (in rough condition) 1980's 42" Aeromarine Jesse James cat. I was planning on using a new OPS .90 I had lying around, but decided to go with a 32 cc homelite string trimmer. I'm starting to get rig of all my nitro stuff and switching over to gas nitro is just to much of a pain in the @#%$^&%#@. I tore down the engine and rebuilt the carb, I honed down the fins so I can start on the cooling. Brazed a header together, and started on a exhaust. Not sure if I want to stick with the original Rudder and strut from Aeromarine, I have a new duel rudder just not sure if I want to use that on my Zippkit Easy V???? Here are a few pix of it so far, I have taken the hull down and it's ready for primer, but I wanted to get all the hardware done first.
Please let me know what I can do better of if there is something I need or forgot???
I'm a newbie to this, have only been in to it for just over a year. I'm a disabled vet and was trying to find a hobby that would keep me outdoors. Fell in love with it and cant seem to stop.lol Oh yea if anyone wants it the OPS.90 for sale or trade for an equal value gas engine.

Hello, do you still have the OPS .90 w/pipe and motor mounts? If you do, I might be interested in it. I can be reached on my cell phone anytime, here's my number: 5743773052. Please give me a call sometime, I would like to ask you some questions about it. Thanks, Jamie.

OMG I think I actuality did it. I took a piece of aluminum 1 1/2 tubing and welded a cap on it, cut a 3/4" hole in the top. Then I used some liquid rubber sealant. it seems to work fine under pressure, all I need to do is build a small brace for it just to make sure it stays on. But I think I just made my first water cooled Weed whacker engine..sorry I'm so proud of myself LOL.

I ran my a full tank through the engine this morning. I filed down the flywheel, adjusted the ignition module, and put in new bearings and seals. It ran great!

I'm amazed the cooling head works. It held with no leaks and kept the engine cool enough to touch. now I just need to make a reducer to attach the coupling to the crankshaft.

After tearing down and messing with like 4 engines, I learned a lot. At least now I can rebuild one without wanting to through it out the window.
