Hey Craig! Great, thanks for the info!! Yes, it is very very rewarding and extremely fun. Right now I've got a 90" Mystic styled mono drawn out on paper and I'm inputting the measurements into CAD right now so I can CNC cut them myself. Teaching myself CAD is also very rewarding and fun! Thank you again for the info. I was going to order 1/16 birch which is very expensive but now I may sheet it with 1/8".

I just got done inputting all the measurements. It is twin stepped, has an overhang, 2 degree slanted steps to improve attack angle, among other cool things. Are you going to use strakes on the bottom of yours? It will be a week or two before I can get these CNC cut. The skeleton alone measures 20" x 9" just for one piece. There are 17 ribs.

Anyway, thanks for inspiring me to do this. It is a blast and I can't wait to start assembling. Sorry for the bad picture quality, I was using a drafting pencil and they aren't very dark.

Hey Craig, sorry I didn't mean to impose on your thread and I'm certaintly not trying to out do you. I've owned numerous 70"+ boats so I wanted to try something bigger. I've also got a 9" rudder just like yours ready to cnc out of aluminum. I'll send you an email with better pictures.

Cool. I'll check it out. Got all the ribs inputted. Working on the scale rudder, drives and air intake scoops now.

Here are a couple of the basic ones I've put in.

Hi Guys
I opened up the hull and placed my motors. I need rear exhaust RCMK's for it to work. so this will be on my xmas list. she is going to be a very fast boat. Craig

Have you tried staggering the engines and have you looked at bh Hanson headers? You can fit them in there I believe. Looks great!

I've got an appointment for the Cnc and laser cutter On Thursday so I'm going to cut the ribs then. You work much faster than me but everything of yours looks great!

Hi Peter
you guy's can ask me anything. I will tell you how I do all this. building your own boat is easy, but takes time. 2 inch house foam. go to lowes or any hardware store. it is 30 dollars for a 4x8 sheet. you can make a entire model out of it. that is how i make my U-boats. very fun. on a foam plug you will need 5 layers of 4oz. glass and epoxy resin. Hi Guys
I am going to run this hull with one rcmk. I staggered my rcmk's in the hull and just was not happy with it. so until I can afford rear exhaust motors?? I will run on one. Marcel thinks 40-45mph is do able with this setup. we shall see. waiting on new parts. hull weighs 10 pounds. I put 10oz. of glass top and bottom. on the bubble to. she is lite and strong. Craig

Honestly you should be fine with one for right now. Got any pictures of the hull as it sits now?
