This one is one I'm going to be watching closely. Must say when you started I did not think it was going to turn out as nice as it has.

sorry, guys my wheels are turning, but they are turning slow. I got the boat a couple of weeks ago, we have put a little resin on the primer to see if all was compatible, so far so good. plus I had to get some other boats done and shipped, that will be a un-going interruption,we have a little tune up to do on the boat, then it will be ready to pull a temp mold from.

Hello Tiekie
Tom was really nice about it. lets just say I am not a pro?? so not to worry. there is a new hull off of plans in the works it will be even better.[:-] Damon( ss rc boats) is talking to a friend about molding it. if this one is good enough we all will have hulls. if not (Nigel) gets it. and I will build NO More!!! [>:] LOL!!! so bug Damon if you want a hull. I am sure if ten guys wanted hulls that might get someone to mold it??? Craig

It was not that the boat was not good enough to mold, its a very nice model. we just could not get the time to do it. there was some work needed to be done to make it work as a plug. But that takes time that we just did not have, the winter months are busy for us as all the guys snowed in build this time of year.I would have loved to make these boats. our shop is only me and Lisa and with 2 kids time is always the issue. And of course money. any time we spend not making parts that pay the bills, on our very tight budget is time we simply can't get back.if you have another set of ribs cut out, i would like to buy them from you and I will make the boat, it is a great subject.plus this way I can use material more usable for a plug.

rcmk 245 with a clutch. nobody runs boats back here?!!!! so I want to be able to launch it myself. just a fun boat. the lucas hull will be setup as a full race, offset rudder, ect. I am learning from a true racer. thanks Damon
