Looks great its too bad that there had to be so much work done to the bottom to get it to run better you all did an awsome job on this build

Boat came out great Steve...well done.
Do you think Rick will change the mold to the bottom of the hull like you guys did?

Peter, I think he will leave it because it would probably create too much lift for one built with a single engine. These hulls run good with a single as well the way they are. The hull mods aren't really that big of a deal to do, it was the figuring out what the hull needed that was time consuming
Here's a few pics and a video from her first run with paint http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGwdG...ature=youtu.be

The 70" sv40 here in bermuda that is running a single 28.5 has absolutely no problems with hull lifting.....and bottom is exactly how it came from Rick. It runs in the low-mid 50's with more to go once the owner fine tunes setup more more. If you ask me it dont run any different from my gtx hull that runs high 50's-60mph with single mod k30.

Yes, a single K30 is definitly the way to go for what you guys are doing down there on the BOMBA circuit, which IMO is THE best rc boat racing in the world!!
However, I wanted a big heavy twin clutched boat that would idle in the water, run decent in smooth water, but be heavy enough to really perform well in very rough conditions. Didn't get any video, but ran her in the Ohio River the other day with wide open throttle for almost 2 miles in 10-14 inch running beside my buddy's 27' Eliminator cat while controlling from onboard. This thing handled it just as good as running on glassy water!! I am SO pleased with this boat I cannot put it into words

RE: Outerlimits 70inch twin build complete
but trust me, with the weight of this boat with twins, we HAD to add the strake extensions to get the necessary lift "for this weight"
