Default AC Lazer 40 Black & Blue "Blackfly"

Our next project up .......................... Lazer 40 - Black and Blue metal flake (custom blend Andy tried) ............... Black interior - Carbon fiber transom (same as S45) and Andy's "tongue" on the hatch ............... We plan on a Zen with K30 top end and 1mm+ crank and SpeedMaster hardware ................... Curious to know what you all think of this color combination

It turned out nicely Randy! The engine needs that blue anodized cooling jacket on it to match. I haven't seen too many of those though, maybe just the prototype K-30's.

Looks good. Is this intended to be a heat racing boat or a pleasure boat? I've raced against individuals with similar colors and they are hard to see when racing, resulting in trying to share the same space (the greater the contrast with the pond and spray the better). At my club's IMPBA district race, a darker green mono completely disappeared in the spray of another boat and was run over. It was only after the driver and spotter were trying to figure out why their mono went airborne that they saw the boat they hit.

If this is a going to be a high speed pleasure boat, then it looks spectacular.

Thanks RonI polish stuff when I'm sitting in Hotels on the road (all the time lately it seems) .....Well started it today (to bad weather to run today maybe tomorrow) Had to replace exhaust flange (other one leaked) and redid hoses (others too loose and didn't like that) Oh well it runs anyways http://youtu.be/pSWr-Af0Lf0

Had the pleasure of meeting andy at the local ford dealership
over heard someone talking about model boats so i commented on model boats
didn't realize i was speaking to the master
i mentioned i had this great hull called a razer he looks at me and says ' i built that
long story short <he's a great guy as well as a great boat builder
even invited me to go down to the coast with him for some racing events
theres an opportunity i'm not going to pass up
