Hi
I've started to have a go at doing my own engine mods.
I had enough bit to make a motor so I thought why not, it's a RCMK 26 with a pre evo barrel on it.
The first stage was blending and eye browing and here is a short vid of the result.

This motor was brand new to start with so I never ran it. But I think you get an improvement in
both power/torque and some rev's. I'm going to open up the inlet and exaust ports next which
I think I will get the most gain from.
The evo motors have some eyebrowing in them as std. The pre evo barrell is smooth like
a Zenoah barrell.

That's sweet!! When you open up the ports you are playing around with timing right? I got myself a much needed dremel recently so should try this stuff myself one day. I have a toxic engine in my new dragcat so maybe when it's spent I may try and copy the top end and see how that goes. Might invest in that dremel extension hand piece you showed me-must be much nicer to hold onto and work with. A friend made me some nice tools to use out of ramset nails he had- works really well

No I'm going to leave the timing for another day. I just want to sneak up to it in little stages
and see what each bit does for real as I've read the theory now the practice.
Got a spare barrell if things go wrong....eheh
