expresscraft gtx 65 boat buit
ok finnaly got the approval from the wife to build a gtx lol took some time but finnaly got the green light, i plan on building soon but need some helpfull info about my plans, ok i plan on useing the whh power package because it comes with pretty much every thing needed and seems fairly simple it says its good for up to a 60 inch hull will this be an issue? its only going to be a just for fun boat but i do plan on adding a more powerfull engine i know the hull can handle the power with no problem but considering the drive line is ment only up to a 60 inch hull will that make the engine sit too far to the rear and cause stability issues? all help is apreciated and i cant wait to get my build on the way cause this is gonna be awesome

ok cool thats what i was thinking now what about prop size? i was thinking a 2814/3 chopper, im gonna be getting the m5 upgrade from whh but i found a 8 hp 29.5 zenoah from gizmo that im gonna be running and just putting the m5 on the shelf maybe for a spare or possibly for another hull in the future it seems like a good idea for a good amount of power to push that 65 to about where i want it

Here is a video of 1 of 3 GTX's I have built for racing. All built with Speedmaster hardware and running single QD25 high torque motors that run mid 50's. Note none have turn fins (including my one in video) since we are not allowed to run turn fins in our club. If you like it I can give you some advice on setup.
