Default What Prop Do You Recomend for a Cracker Box???

I have a Cracker Box coming this week that has a stock 26cc in it right now. I have plenty of experience with Gas Cats, F1 Tunnels, and Classic Thunder Boats, but none with Cracker Boxes. Just wondering what you all are running prop wise on yours.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
MadDog

I have a zipp kits A Box cracker with a stock 260 that really runs good with a 670 prop. A 275 prop works well also, but the 670 is a little better in my opinion.

Jpelezo,

I should have changed my profile but I am no longer living in CO. I now live in PA so my question is would you still recommend that prop at sea level.

The Crackerbox came in yesterday and it has a 275 prop on it. I will run it with that for a while and see how it performs before I decide if I should change it out.

Dan, Good luck with the cracker! Better change your address in your profile here since you moved to Wisconsin. Brian

I built my own cracker box, built maybe 10-15 of them now for my friends, we found smaller diameter throws the boat around less. Try all your props on it, you might be surprised. I run a 6518/3 and another guy runs a 1667/3 off his rigger! It could take a lot of testing, fast in the corners will win races.

Thanks for reminding me about the profile. I moved again and got out of Wisconsin 4 days shy of one full year. I am now in Doylestown, PA and pretty sure for good.
