Default Hartman Charger Cabin Cruiser

Hello everyone it's been a while since I posted on RCU hope everyone is doing well and has/are having a great summer. I have just finished 2 RC gas boats that I have had on the table for a while the cabin cruiser is a modified KNK X-150, and the "Thriftway Too" is a Greed hull. I enjoy all aspects of gas but I like more the "Fun Scale" of large pleasure boats. when I was a teenager I remember seeing the Hartman Charger and was impressed with the overall size similar to my KNK X-150. I spoke with Don form LoyalHanna dockyard and was surprised that he offered the kit from Hartman models. I was wondering if any modelers out there has built this kit, just looking for any feed back. the Cabin Cruiser (pictured) is 59" long 20" beam and WTR about 30lbs did sea trial on Sunday it was a sight to see. The "Thriftway Too" runs well to just need to dial it in better. Both models are wood kits PPG finish.

Hi topgun61, been looking at the Hartman Charger myself. What did you power yours with if I may ask? Gorgeous finish and detail work!

Thanks,
Wade

AHA! That was your hull I was fondling Extra layer of glass? There is a G32 marine version now, or are you using air cooling? I have been contemplating a gas 4 stroke, but water cooling seems difficult so far.

Water cooling isn't that hard. You only need a water pick up, a water discharge and tubing from one to the other via the motor. All my boats have water cooling and it's not a big deal to install everything required in any boat

I would really like a large 4 stroke gasoline boat engine, but none are available with water cooling... so far.
