Twin Inline Deep Vee ? Will it work ?
Hi,
I am thinking of building a twin engine 72" deep vee and need some expert info.
Ok so there are two ways of doing this.
1.Side by side Zenoah's
2.Twin inline Zenoah's
I see the side by side topic has been done but what about twin inline motors???? Would this be better on a mono?
You do not need counter rotating flex shafts ,props or engines. Just one BIG prop.
Or would one BIG motor be less costly and easier to run? But twins are cool.
Is there anyone out there that has done this and if so are there any pics on the web of their boat?
Any help is welcome
Thanks
Tim.

IVE SEEN A PERSON JOIN 2 ZENOAH G23 MOTORS AT THE CRANK AND MADE AN TWIN INLINE MOTOR. HE HAD TO GET RID OF IT B/C IT MADE TOO MUCH POWER, AND COULDNT GET IT TO RUN RIGHT

when you start messin with twins, is what your doing is giving yourself twice the headache... if its your first boat, get something moderatly priced to see if your even going to like it.. speed on water and speed on land are 2 totally different sports.. Theres a few company's out there that make a twin inline, but they are timed perfectly.. and are farily easy to get running. When you take 2 single engines and put them together, theres so many things that can go wrong.. and if it can go wrong in boating, IT WILL. and a 72 inch boat is a big boy.. and the pricetag to build somthing that your talkin about is up there..
See what else is out there!

Hi Tim.
Take a look at the MHZ website, they have a Twin Zenoah in their programme, and the upgear to go with it.
www.mhz-engines.com
Good luck with your twins!

a g23 in a 70inch boat, shew.. that engine had to be tired after 1 lap... with the 260, run a mod octura x482, or a h-3016 abc prop
