Jamie ,
Although you problem can probably be resolved , we would need to know a bit more than you stated .... Pictures of the engine setup , and hardware would be VERY helpful .
Could be one of MANY problems ...
Could be fixed by MANY different ways also ...
For example ... prop angle could adjust your porpousing ( or however thats spelled )
Could also be done possibly with trim tabs ... or moving your engine ... or rudders angle ...
Like I said ... pictures would be a BIG help so we can see where to begin ...
Not to worry though .... more than likely , it CAN be fixed .
Action shots are not needed , just different views of the transom ( rudder , prop area ) and engine mounted .... ( actually the whole inside would be best )
Based on that everything is basically correct in setup , is your prop angle at 90 degrees to the transom ? ( we'll start with that first ) How far back is your prop and rudder ? What kind of boat ?

Not really sure which stand-off , or how far it is .... best bet would be pictures if you could . You can either email them to me ( which I would post here for you ) or you could post them here yourself .
Pictures a lot of times tells more than words ever could .
I will wait to hear from you , or watch for a post here .
