RE: help water coming in from my stuffing tube..
Take two pieces ot silicon tube, one that fits over the propshaft and the other one fitting both.
Secure the biggest piece on the stuffing tube (clean it first) with a tie-wrap and put the shaft in with a little grease.
The smallest tube should not be too tight on the shaft, but be able to rotate without much friction, the grease should stay inside the stuffing tube and keep the water out.
I must have a pic some where, when I find it, I'll post it.
Regards, Jan.

If the tube end is above waterline water shouldn't come in,when running the way the cable is wrapped forces water back down tube and hull is higher on water,so when running water shouldn't be entering boat.
One way around problem is to install auto bailer and not worry about small amount of water in hull.Or mount engine high enough that stuffing tube is well above waterline, this may affect handling of the hull.
