Probably the Bonzi 84" (Bonzi Sports).

"Is it a good boat" ??

It all depends on what you are trying to do and what you are trying to do it with.

it will want a healthy injection of power to get any reasonable performance. Two mild zenoahs or a QD35 at a minimum though has been powered by up to 2 x QD70's (pics on the Bonzi site). RTR with 2 x QD70's is comparable in price to a good PWC (in the order of $7000+). I think I would rather the PWC (you could always add a radio to it )

If your just starting out - the 84" boat is probably going to be more than you can handle (On and off the water).

If you have your heart set on a boat that large, MHZ sells a 125cc Rotax engine to install in the boat......their website has a couple of videos of a 101" (?) boat with one in it. Looks and sounds impressive, to say the least. I can't recall the price exactly but it seems to me the engine is around 3-4 grand..... Hey its only money!

yeah bonzi sports have the 84 apache if you decide on big power probably good idea to get carbon firbre build up or the very least reinforce the hull with carbon fiber say from engine placement to transom.
enjoy.

Well I saw it and doesn't look like it's worth the money. So I'll stay with the little Gas Boats for now.

Good Luck !!! Not many used 84" hulls floating around.

I have seen 4 on e-bay the past 18 months or so. You could see if they have a blem hull available. The big kicker with hulls 70"+ can be shipping.

Have you seen the XXXBoatworks 73" Vee. Not an apache but certainly an attention getter at most ponds.

What are they asking for the 84" Now ?? $545 in any color ?? Not bad for what they are selling. I would rather new - you get a warranty and no excuses if it arrives with a crack or needing paint. I forked out $1420 for one of MHZ's 96 hulls(though as luck would have it they refunded my money 3 months later because they could not deliver it !)

For most - buying the hull is the cheap part. You can spend $545 easily on paint alone !!

Justaddwata hi ya there yes from all reports the 73 expresscraft hull is a performer try a pair of QD 35s for 55-60mph another quality hull so I have been told is the REM hulls from Rich at thunderpro 73"cigerette very straight and true holds up on decent chop.I am getting my brother to build an aluminium hull of a large scale seeming shipping is just too much being overseas.
cheers.

Where can I reach thunder pro or look at them on the web, REM hulls? Does anybody know if there are any used Ballantine boats out their? If he is going to start producing them again or just stick to the hardware, which I must say, he does very well.
