As some of you guys already know, they were on display at a big boat meet in Germany.
Yes that twin-twin belt drive with clutches looks too hot to handle.
What a monster that must be!

Those in line engines....how are they connected together,is the crank 180 degrees from the other one(one piston up one down),the spacer..how does it work?
Anyone knows?
I am a newbie to this and interested.

most are connected by awy of an adapter that connects the cranks. They are typically 180 degrees offset. The spacer is used to hold the motors inline.

I see...is the adapter bolted to the flywheel or is it some kind of rubber coupling(thinking of bearings in the "front"engine)?

bolted. The bearings should not have any problems. I was making a coupler using rubber bushings but can see this coupling being superior.

I now have two of the Zenoah kits from XXXBoatworks.com.

(same as shown here)

No good pics of the coupler I was making and never finished that project.

Contact XXXBoatworks.com for the Zenoah coupler kits. or assembled motors. Raj had better discuss price and options.

I dont know of anyone making or offering kits for the Sikk motors in the US at this time.

Is anyone actually making the inline kits for the Sikk engines? I know there was a lot of talk....but I have not seen one available for sale yet. If they are currently not on the market, I would consider making them. If they exist and there is sufficient inventory and availibility in the US, I can't see developing my own.
