RE: My New G-Force Rigger
Thanks Kevin. The prop thing![:@] I spent $160.00 on props that would probably have worked at lower altitudes , aren't worth beans up here! The prop I have on it right now was given to me 2 years ago by a nitro guy who was going to throw it out! Go figure!

Good idea Zac, but that thing is BLUE! I HATE BLUE! HATE IT!![:'(] And my boat is Red! I think my pipe support will work for that purpose. I need to start launching that thing myself. Gonna practice launch techniques this weekend. Brian

Brian,
You could always take the Annodizing off the handle to have it all aluminum..
That guy in your Video grabs the back of the rigger in a Bad spot !!! I was expecting to see some fingers flying !!!!!
Nice Running rigger though

Kinda funny! 2 videos mysteriously dissappearing! I just re-posted the first day running vid here. http://www.rcuvideos.com/publish/item/9LJ93C7RBR81BM8P I changed the pipe setting, and now I'm running a much bigger prop. It's running much faster these days! Brian

RE: My New G-Force Rigger
Brian,
Where did you get the turn fin? I went to WH Hobbies & didn't see it with their SpeedMaster stuff.
I'm building a rigger and I like the look of yours.
Thanks,
Artie.

RE: My New G-Force Rigger
WOW![X(] Been a while since this post has had any action! Also been a while since I've posted here too! I've been running the G-Force most every weekend since I built it. Always trying something new in the quest for speed yano. WILDGAS and Artie, the hull is built by Bob English in California. He has made a ton of these hulls, mine is #22. I believe that I paid $420.00/shipped USPS for it around Holloween last year. The hull package consists of the tub, (center section) the sponsons, sponson tubes, radio box lid, a vacume formed cowl, and the turn fin. Heres a junky pic of the hull without the cowl after I first got it. The turn fin and mounting bracket are designed to fit G-Force Rigger sponsons and might not work on others. Here is Bob English's email addy if you want to ask him about the turn fin. [email protected] But like I said before, it was designed to fit the G-Force right sponson. It mounts on the side, and rear of the sponson. Good luck, Brian

RE: My New G-Force Rigger
How are the setup instructions that come with the boat? Pretty straight forward?? Ive never built a rigger either. The boat looks great!

RE: My New G-Force Rigger
As I recall, the instructions were pretty general and many things weren't mentioned. But at least there was something to work with. Setting the attack angle on the front sponsons was the most confusing part of the build. If I had problems or questions, I would call Bob and ask him directly what I needed to do. He owns a bicycle shop and builds these boats in the back of the store. So getting in touch with him directly wasn't a problem. I definately would NOT recommend someone with little boating experience to attempt building a scratch built Rigger. A prebuilt hull like this one is the way to go. All the trial and error has already been figured out! Brian

HAHA! Some things never go away!. I think I said that nobody ran, or runs Riggers out here. I had no class to race it in. Motor came out and went elsewhere and the hull hung on my wall forever. I sold the hull and hardware a few months back to a guy who will finally race it. So all is well with ole #22, I hope! Brian
