What should I get??????
Hello,
I’m new to the RC boating scene. I have been into nitro trucks and cars for about 4-5 years now. I’ve always had an interest in RC Boating and would like to purchase something soon. The question is what to get? I had my eyes set on the V24 but after reading the many threads out there on it I have changed my mind. I do like the Deep Vee style boats and would prefer gas. Any ideas on what to get?
Thanks

There are alot of experts of this forum to help you, I am just a rookie. You may want to add some more info. How much do you want to spend. Size of boat your looking at. Water conditions, Chop and size of pond or lake. Do you want to race or not.

Ok, I will take a look at some of the suggestions. I was looking at the Bonzi boats and liked them. They are a bit pricy. I am looking to spend about a grand. I was looking at the Shockwave 55 boat which is about a grand, but is it a good boat? I’m from MN so where to run won’t be a problem. I like the Vee hull style the best. Thanks for your suggestions.

Stay away from Proboat!!! The other companies are a couple of hundred dollars more for a reason. Go with a cat or a mono due to the ease of set up and driveability.

RE: What should I get??????
Ok, I took everyone’s ideas and have checked them out. I was wondering about the Osprey from Express craft and the Enforcer Super Sport G or the Super G from Warehouse Hobbies. They are with in my price range. Are these good boats? I’m not sure if I like the open compartments though. Can these be converted to closed cockpit? The web sites don’t give me a lot of information about them. UGH……[]
Thanks, K
