Default Shockwave 55

Will the hatch cover that has the drivers on it from a Shockwave SS fit the older Shockwave 55? Thanks Moe

Did the older one come with a hatch cover? Or is there one that fits it? I would like to enclose the engine compartment, it looks better that way.

yes ,but its only the back half.this is because of the can mufler is in the way.with some cutting and lots of nit-pickin work you can make the ss cover work, but its a pain in the ---.

Anyone know where I can find a set of "screws" (thumb screws) that hold the back of the Hatch on? I have a Shockwave 55" that I am doing in the Miami Vice 38 KV colors and restoring.......

Hello Mr Randy
The nuts were sent this week - I live in Northern Canada so may take a bit of time but they have been sent. No need for any $$ was no big deal to ship..............

Good luck with your build.

Cheers

Another Randy

I have a Arapaho hatch that is 9 3/4" W and 18" long. the Arapaho is 54" so this might be pretty close. We left air in some of the corners and the only reason I did not throw it out was someone like you. That is willing to model off of it, overall structure wise it's just fine, it just needs som filling and sanding then of course painting to math it into your own boat. I will send it if you want it and get paid bye knowing you spent a afternoon modeling and not watching TV...lol

Its ok! Check out "Wellcraft Scarab 38KV Miami Vice Editions" on Facebook, I own a real 38KV Vice Scarab and made the model to match.

Were you referring to me? I'm sorry I just read the post. If you still have that I'd take it for sure! The one I made is just flat and looks ok, but not great.
