Hi martno1fan

Yes, we make the plug from wooden model which was carved by hands !

We plan to make some other style of plug to meet the modeler`s needs !

hi as im running a weedy engine 28 cc no mods apart from a big carb im running a prather 280 prop, the thinking been that my lower rpm engine wont spin a small prop fast enough to get good speed, seems to be working great so far as speed is respectable at 35 + .when i install a zenoah260 ill probably opt for a smaller prop.i have a build thread on here of my boat with a few vids of it running.ill be posting more soon as she is now running fatser after a few tweaks here and there.hope i havent hijacked your thread mate, your boat looks first class though.heres my build thread.there are others building from the same plans (free ones)but i did change them to suit me so mines dif from the rest not better just different .

Really impressive. How much does the hull and deck weigh without any hardware?

Hi agaiin,
I received your email regarding price, and shipping.  I sent an email to octopus RC, I think that is your place of business. I want to ask some questions about the hull, seeing how I can't see it in person. Following is a list of questons for my satisfaction.
1. This is the red, white and blue catamaran that has Sea Wolf 1 on it?
2. How wide & long is the opening in the boat?
3. How wide is the sponsons and depth. Will zenoahs fit down in the sponson?s.  Also will the RCMK S520 twin inline fit down in them.
4. Is the hull expoy or polyester?
5. Does the hull have clear on it and is this automotive paint, is so what brand?
6. Is there any chips, dents, damage, ect to the hull?
7. Any holes been drilled in the hull?
8. How long will it take to get the boat (is it already made ,and if so, how long to ship it to USA)?
9. Whose struts and rudder was this boat designed for.

Pls send reply to my email: [email protected] and give me yours in case I have any other questions.  I really like the boat.

Default RE: 1.85M(73 inch ) GIANT SCALE CATAMARAN HULL FINISHED

Hello Pat
Below are the answers for your questions .

1. This is the red, white and blue catamaran that has Sea Wolf 1 on it? Yes , the red one have white botom and seawolf logo on it . We can do the same drawing for our customer if they prefer .

2. How wide & long is the opening in the boat? I may take more pictures and post here later .

3. How wide is the sponsons and depth. Will zenoahs fit down in the sponson?s. Also will the RCMK S520 twin inline fit down in them. Totaly no problem , see pictures in face book here : [link=http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=24629&l=c9af7ee922&id=136609799732485]http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=24629&l=c9af7ee922&id=136609799732485[/link]

4. Is the hull expoy or polyester? It`s polyester , the market want low cost products so we mostly made hull by polyester , very few hull made by expoy except some hull for Racing .

5. Does the hull have clear on it and is this automotive paint, is so what brand ? Yes we use Automobile paint and have clear on the painted hull . Don`t remember which brand but i am sure it`s made in China .

6. Is there any chips, dents, damage, ect to the hull? The one in the picture i post on RCU already sold to Greece and we don`t stock such big scale painted hull in warehouse. Most of the hull we sold are blank , people like to paint by themself and the painted one is higher price off course .

7. Any holes been drilled in the hull? We will make new hull for you , we won`t and never sell prototype before.

8. How long will it take to get the boat (is it already made ,and if so,how long to ship it to USA)? The hull will be shipped through DHL to USA , normally it will arrived in your door in 4-5 working days ! The hull need to be made after customer place order and the subscription received .

9. Whose struts and rudder was this boat designed for. The struts and rudder was made by our own .

Below is the video of our prototype testing run with a CY49cc marine engine ,single prop .

The one have two 26cc Zenoah copy mounted inside finally failed , still didn`t make the left reversed engine working well .
So we mounted a 49cc on anther one and made above video. We already considering the installation space for 26cc marine engine even 26cc inline twin engine .
Totaly no problem , the spark plug won`t touch the hatch. Even have a 49cc mounted inside middle .
