BB try XXXBoatworks's Raj has a nice kit for a inline 260 Rkpilot2002@yahoo .com
I choose the Lazer 40 for the test hull because Andy make's a dam good boat and has the room to fit the header inside the boat as with some of the smaller hull's min clearance for the header is 4" off centerline and it land's close but not as close as some I do have other hull's including a rigger and are looking for other's for testing
Using Blair's software for calculating rpm and hp for this 20k is possible and 5hp @16.500 is realistic I am looking to find someone with a waterbrake dyno to get the real #'s from this engine as I don't trust or believe the #'s from the other dyno's out there

Glenn, the Gas Nats are going to be in Celina Oh this year and on Page one Ron said he is going. I'll be there for the second time, first was Gas Nats in 04 at the same spot. [8D] It's a long ways to go to race boats but well worth it. Andy (from AC boats), Jerome (Jerome Tune pipes) Marc (both from Holland), Andre (from Germany) are coming down with ACLazer and myself too! Going to be a big international party there.

It sounds it - for you it really is a long way - I wish you well.
I thought the Europeans did a long journey for the FSRV world championships over here, but it seems not compared to you Mike.
Computers make the world so small. Whilst typing, I have had a message form a good friend working in Iraq just now.
Amazing.
Night all - and good luck with the travelling Mike.

Is there a release date for this engine? What will be the estimated cost of a base line stock 20cc zenoah marine engine? I know the air guys enjoy there little 20 cc engine, now it's our turn.

it.s a lot smaller! it.s almost half the the weight(dry)of the others. It is going to make a awesome motor I bet. and if it makes 5hp that's plenty

Thanks for the pics. That really is small. Very nice conversion for marine use, to bad zenoah is not selling them like that. Maybe they will if we show enough interest. Until then I think your going to be a real busy guy doing conversions if the engine performs well in your boat. And im sure it will, its a zen. wheres the ignition? I am guessing its a box that will mount in the radio box? will it need a battery for ignition power? Thanks. Mike.

it does and it also has a magnesium case which is 1 reason it is so lite, and also why it,s a 100bux more expensive than a 260.

It has a electronic spark box with a trigger built into the flywheel collet the box I do believe is water proof but I plan on testing that as well I have plans of placing it ahead of the engine under the hull with the battery which will be a 5 cell flat pack I think radio issue would arrise if it was in the radio box
The nitro version will not need the spark box or battery lowering the weight even more but I am running gas so that would be up to you
It would make a sweet little outboard for sure but like any other parts for this it would have to be made from scratch or a mount plate would be needed as the bolt pattern is not the same as the 231 or 260 but like anything else we started all this by putting weedwacker motors in boats a long time ago and look how far we have come with that
Thank's for all the input from this as it started as a shot in the dark over a year and a half ago and hopefully will be the next best thing for all those hull's under 40" that are stuck with either electric or nitro power
Hope to have it up and running this week if time allow's it seem's just when you get a minute to do something these day's something else come's along to spoil that you know that work thing

I would have to give the most credit for this venture to my friend and partner Bob aka Bobsboat for putting up with me and for all his time and input
