EXPRESSCRAFT GTX W/INLINES Test Run
5th time out with the GTX clocked 61 MPH on GPS, sorry no pic's again as I was alone.
The pond is small, so not much room to get it going any faster and the pond was like glass too. no waves at all !
Hull handles very well even in the turns. I need to tune carbs, running rich , should get more speed once dialed in.
New prop is very good, Thanks Raj ! It's takes off fast from a stop now.
Just some pic's of the inside of the hull.

Nice boat. I have always like that hull.
Is that one of Raj's inlines? How do you like the inline setup? Is it easy to tune? I am looking at that setup as well. I talked to Raj about one of his inlines. Out of all the ones Ive seen online his is one of the best setups. Raj seems like a nice guy. His shop is about 3 hours from me. When I order the motor I will probably drive down to pick it up and get the hull on the way. The Expresscraft's shop is on the way to Raj's shop from here.
Did you see the three cylinder he built a wile back. It was in a GTX. It looked like it fit with no problems. He posted pics on this forum. That looked like a very fast boat.

Yes, they are Raj's inline Zenoahs. they look cool and run great. easy to start and tune. I saw the three cylinder GTX post, he is now working on finishing that hull last I talked to him. That's going to be a very cool boat !

Steve,
She looks beautiful. She is a tough act to follow in both the looks and performance department. I scaled back my plans to install a pair of inlines in one of my GTX in favor of a single inline. Was a little too much motor. Second motor is destined for the Canoe.
Was that one of Marks paint jobs? I think I will have to spend some $$ this year on decent paint. Vinyl decals only do so much.
Keep the pics and video coming.

Hi Matt
Thanks
Yes , paint was done by Mark. He did a great Job, well worth the $$$ and no paint smell in my house !
She's running better every time I hit the lake. A few more times out I should have her dialed in .
When she gets going it's loud, I might try silencers if anyone complains .
Steve
Thanks

Steve,
Another build well done, pictures do not do this boat justice.
Guys I had the pleasure of seeing this boat in person and all I can saw its awesome, the workmanship is top notch. The attention to detail make this a very classy boat It sounded like a big block Chevy with its inline twins. I'm sure my neighbors loved the noise and camp fuel smell at 9:30pm.
Looking foward to seeing your Cheeta keep us posted with plenty of pics

Thanks for the kind words Brian
Your boat looks great too! It was fun helping you with your build as well.
You did a great job with your build!
It was great to hear you boat finally start up tonight. It's going to be fast, that's for sure.
Post some pics of your build already
Can't wait to see you test run it, then a paint job.

What headers did you use. I have a set of inlines and have been talking with Raj about a GTX for them. I like the way you have yours setup. Very Nice

Headers I used are B.H.Hanson see pic
6. - Deep Vee header. header with approximately 3 1/2 inch offset to put header in left side of boat and
9. - 45/90 header with one inch offset and one inch rise.
You will have to extend the tuned pipes a few inches . see pic
hope this helps
