Convert Standard homelite to clutch
Is it possible to convert a standard homelite engine, to a clutched homelite?
How much would it cost, and what parts do i need?

Not sure about a price but you need the crank from a clutched motor and the clutch, Might be a few more parts in there, but i really don't know.

RE: Convert Standard homelite to clutch
well, will i be able to let the boat idle in the water? i dont care if it moves, i just want to be able to have the motor running and not be running full speed. Can i do that with a direct drive? (no clutch)

You should be able to run the boat at speeds a little over idle and not see too much speed with a direct drive. Most boats run a little faster than walking pace depending on how slow you can keep the motor running. The homie having a big old flywheel should be ok at slower speeds.
