Default Rx Batteries

Hi there

just wondering if there are any disadvantages of using a sealed lead acid battery rather than the 5cell nicad battery packs.
i have heaps of SLA batteries and chargers around work not being used.

i have one similar in my lads car and i havent weighed it but id say it weighs as much as 4 or 5 maybe even six 5 cell nicad or nimh packs
