should i order the round or square collet? what is the most common flex shaft end & easiest to get hold of? for the EP & Nitro boats i've been using round, is it the same with Gas?

With round ... you could ALWAYS cut the flex to length without worries .
Round is WAY more commonly used .

Bob, you know that others will differ but I like the regular collets myself over the square drives. It's mostly personal choice. The current record holding gas hydro has a square drive in it so that shows that you can go either way.

i'm not up fpr setting any speed records with this build. it's a fun boat that will never see a race. just wanted to know what was the easiest to replace and get hold of. i was inclined to go round due to ease of cutting teh flex cable to length & not having to worry about squaring the ends.
