RE: Vacuum moulding the new hull
The efficiencies I refered to were in the engineering elegance department, and I was kind of thinking along the lines of micro / mini servos, just for fun as much as anything.

Cool but the outboard vibrations would still transfer to the mini servos and devour them, unless those vibs and some other transients are taken care of too. So in this sence the above equlibrium is only as an average over time.

Indeed it does Patrik,
I am not so sure it will make a huge difference to the overall life of the servo's, but it does make for a space saving too.
Is that a reed valve motor you have fitted there? It is hard to tell from the picture.

RE: Vacuum moulding the new hull
The main gain could be space saving, needad as can be seen. But I like to point out improvements less obvious. This box became sleek without feeling cramped, last box was crazy cramped It is the case reed and it has been started, sounds good but I have really only idled it a little.
