RE: Aeromarine Avenger Pro Build
First run today;
Sorry no pics or video because no one else showed up to hold the camera...
Break-in was smooth, absolutely no rudder trim needed; the strut shim was perfect!
getting on the throttle was impressive...tuned rich for break-in, Id say high 50s.
Didnt get a chance to tune for performance because the gas tank broke loose...I used 15 minute epoxy and obviously not enough. Im going to use fiberglass resin to secure it now. Im headed to the lake again tomorrow and Ill take some video and gps

Matt, glad to hear the shim worked! Sounds like the Avenger is running strong and with some prop/motor/strut tuning she will be runnin in thr 60's no problem!

Alright guys, heres the video. I was a little off on guessing the speed. GPS at 52 mph and for me, thats fast enough for racing. Strong headwind on the back straight and never blew over. Its pretty much set up for racing offshore at the moment, Id have to drop the strut a little for heat racing and only looses about 1mph when doing so. Id say its right on.

yea, its a 6717/3 and Ive also tried a prather 275 but it pulls the engine down in the turns. The 6717 is the way to go for me.

RE: Aeromarine Avenger Pro Build
what pipe setup is that if you dont mind me asking? I am currently working on avenger pro as well. I like the way you pipe is setup. Ive noticed the alot of people use the header that wraps upwards then back down the side to avoid the pipes sicking out but seems that all the extra header would loose perforamnce.
