Choke the crap out of it, pull the plug and pull more to get fuel up top, should spray out a little, also like said above pull the plug and lay it on the motor, try pulling to get a spark..is there a kill switch that might be defective?

is the carb primed to where your finger gets wet by covering the venturi when you pull? If so the only other real option is an electrical/ignition problem.
That dosen't bode well for AQ when the first one someone gets is DOA [:-]

Iv seen worse...Aquacraft cant check every motor they get, It should be up to fuji to at the very least make sure the ignition system is running correctly..if thats the case here..might just be a bunk plug, its happened to me. no different then starting a nitro engine to lean and toasting a plug, in my opinion anyways.

Did you follow the starting procedure in the manual?
If not this is what it says.
1. Carefully fill the fuel tank with the appropriate fuel/oil mix.
2. Carefully fill the oil tank with GrimRacer Cable Oil (AQUB9550)
3. Turn on the transmitter and receiver (in that order).
4. Depress the priming bulb until you see fuel enter the clear bulb
5. Remove the spark plug wire form the top of the sparkplug
6. Close the choke and pull the recoil starter briskly 5 times
7. Open the choke and replace the sparkplug wire
8. Open the oil shut off clip
9. Pull the recoil starter to start the motor.
10. If your engine does not start, repeat the starting procedure making sure fuel is in the fuel bulb.
Let me know.
Mike

RE: Rio 51 1st Impression
hope he gets this thing going[&o],sounds like hes not getting fuel to the plug to me but what do i know .two very slow pulls after priming and while choking is what i do to start my zen then close the choke(remove thumb) and one sharp short pull at 1/4 throttle and away she goes.before i used that method i had the same shoulder problems as our friend did .the instuction books not allways right in my experience .
