Default F 1 Tunnel hull

Can someone tell me how are down should the strut sit or how far down should the propeller be in the water. Hope someone knows what im talking about.

Can you tell me what engine you are using.My Sprint Catamaran with a Stock Zenoah.The prop shaft center line was at the bottom of the sponsons.But for a F-1 Tunnel Hull i would think take the prop and center it in the center of the tunnel.Remember something more prop you have coming out of the water faster you will go.But no more than half of the prop.Take Care, Dan

The strut height for my 41" cat is 1/2" from bottom of the stuffing tube to the bottom of the sponsons, this set up is for a 6518/3 prop and 34% of the CG.

Are you typing about an outboard powered boat?
Start with the centerline of the prop just slightly above the bottom of the sponsons then adjust from there.

No, I was replying to dan for the strut height of the Cat not that outboard power boat.
