RE: Davette SS DeepVee build-up
for those interested,I did find these engines listed as: LIBERTY Classics 1/6 Scale 426 C.I Hemi Top Fuel Dragster Replica Engine , at amazon .com ...................price 31-35.00....
while this static hemi weighs just around a pound,it will initially be configured into the overall COG.....(yes,NO radio box),and it does sit as low as it can go in the bottom of the hull,So hopefully, no top-heavy tendencies will be noted, keep in mind Y'all, this is a sport boat for now till further testing can be done, but I sure do like the WOW factor.....

It started out as a whim (brain fart) for Paul M's drag boat build up, but I guess I was overcome by how good it looked when put into any hull..... [8D] I do believe PARMA makes a blown hemi in a smaller (and lighter) scale unit with just as much detail.......here's a PARMA hemi in my buddies 1/10 home brew scale gasser...

as mentioned in Dana's thread, I plan on doing a full cockpit on this build,w/rear bench seat, and no radio box, still sourcing for parts availability, might have to go to the aircraft side of the house for gauges, and stuff, any one got resources for scale stuff ....cleats,etc...etc....etc...

Bob you will get a decent speed from that boat even with that deep vee header so dont worry about it mate,it will look way cool too which is a bonus.Keep the pics coming mate,by the way i hate that name i bet you know who chose that one.

Mooving right along....I'll be using the T-bar w/oil cup..my Question for those out there is this... I'll be notching the tube to allow the oil to hit the flex, but how deep should I run the tube into the stinger....should I just run the tube into the stinger 1/4" and pack the stinger with marine grease? would this still allow the lighter grade oil to be drawn from the cup into the rest of the stuffing tube by virture of the cable wind ??? I'll also be using a rubber boot on the collet end to prevent splashing and to keep it all clean...any info, help, comments are welcome...thanks
